My first "Know the Name" post goes to Jane Birkin....because she is undeniably beautiful! Probably my favorite 1960s style icons, for she embodies classic English and effortless French fashion simultaneously. The English born French actress, singer and model is the inspiration behind the "Birkin bag", one of Hermes most famous and costly handbags.

AN EDUCATION

I watched this movie last night, and while it's not the best film I've ever seen, it surely got me smitten with the wit, charm and style of 1960s fashion. Actress Carey Mulligan, who plays leading lady Jenny, is just adorable in this movie!
